I paint landscapes that are instantly recognisable but modern and striking in design.
The stripes are painted freehand in acrylics on canvas.
Painting stripes can be intense work and sometimes feel the need to paint in a freestyle.

Im interested in mid century design and am looking to include more of this in my work.

I also create digital designs including a very popular range of travel prints.

Iv lived by the coast most of my life, I love walking and sea swimming.
Born in Watford in 1968. Moved to the Isle of Wight with family in 1979.
Having grown up with parents in the printing business and my dad a keen photographer and an inventor of sorts.
I grew up to be a free thinker, creative and intent on running my own business.
Eventually settling into a career in art and design.
I started painting in 2000, selling vibrant art to visitors and locals on the Isle of Wight.
Moved to Dorset in 2012 which enabled me to branch out with my art and I am still represented by mainland galleries.
Connections to the Island remained strong, so I returned in June 2018.

I now show and sell my work at Seaview Gallery and the Aqualibrium Gallery here on the Isle of Wight.
And on the mainland, at First View Gallery, Stour Head and Cove Gallery, Weymouth.
I am a member of the National Acrylic Painters Association and have exhibited at the Crypt, St Ives, Cornwall.
